PIERRE + TIANA
Rarotonga. One of my favourite places. Everything about this island sings to my soul. The water, the scenery, the locals and of course the scooter rides around the island.
I was beyond excited when Pierre and Tiana asked me to be their photographer for their August wedding in Rarotonga. Super stoked to be a destination wedding photographer- long may it continue!!
I had been to the island before so knew that I was in for an amazing day with these two and was so excited to shoot my favourite type of photography- two people choosing forever with each other, against this incredible tropical background.
I spent the days leading up to the wedding scouting locations, and let’s be honest, conveniently had lots of drive-bys the local brewery (ladies you may think beer is not your thing- I wasn’t really too keen either but this stuff is YUM). You have to try it if you go there! It’s called Cook Islands Lager.
Back on track, the wedding day arrived and went off without a hitch. The first look, ceremony and reception were all held at the beautiful Pacific Resort on Rarotonga’s Muri Beach. Everyone was so happy! Joyful really, to be spending this day with Pierre and Tiana, and just in for such a good time! It’s so much fun when everyone gets up at the reception to have a good boogie and does some shots haha!
Have to mention Olly, the best mans amazing fire dance performance- this kept me chuckling behind the camera for a long time. I seriously think you have a hidden talent for this.
Also credit to my amazing husband second shot for me- he’s getting quite a knack for it! Thanks babe x
Jesse from Marry Me Movies was the videographer on this job, was awesome working along side you, cannot wait to see what you create from this beautiful day!
Tiana and Pierre, thanks so much for having me along to capture your story! It was so much fun getting to know you both and spending your wedding day with you, capturing beautiful memories.
I say it all the time- seriously love what I do and couldn’t be more thankful. Enjoy
